About this project

This project aimed to explore the potential for an optimized version of Nørrebro United’s website focusing on structure and design. Through tests, analyses, and research, we developed a solution that enhanced the user experience of Nørrebro United’s website, particularly in terms of menus, structure, and consistency.

Our solution was tailored based on data collection, empirical evidence, and feedback from target audience analyses, 5-second tests, and input from NBU leadership regarding the website’s purpose and audience. We created a simpler and more user-friendly interface with an emphasis on simplicity and new focus areas.

The result was a website with improved usability, sharpened audience understanding, and intuitive navigation at its core. Nørrebro United’s goals, including promoting sports participation among disadvantaged children and accommodating the diversity among children and youth, were taken into consideration.

Compared to the current structure following the Danish Football Association’s (DBU) website structure, the club’s website lacked structure, overview, and an attractive design. Therefore, our redesign of the website was optimized to convey the club’s work and offerings in a more digestible manner, while also addressing the chairman’s desire to recruit more volunteers and attract more sponsors.
